The storyline of Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicals follows Tanjiro Kamado's journey to turn his sister, Nezuko, back into a human after she was turned into a demon by a flesh-eating monster. The game's story mode adapts the first season of the anime, including the events of the Mugen Train movie, and features exploration, cutscenes, and boss battles. In the sequel, which expands the story, players also experience the Etertainment District Arc, the Swordsmith Village Arc, and the Hashira Training Arc.
